• Report direct to the Construction Manager for updates of work.
• Checking the Instrument installation hook-up and modification whether the installation as been completed and as of engineering specifications followed.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and guidelines in all areas of work.
• Perform Lockout / Tag-out for both Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment if necessary for safety purposes before they commence their task job activities.
• Verification and review of work permits application for all Commissioning and operation activities in order to check if all necessary documents are attached. E.g. Single line diagram for Electrical works, P&ID for both mechanical and Instrumentation activities.
• Prepare list of instrument and points to be Loop Check and confirm all instrument check sheets are completed with no outstanding punch list items.
• Responsible in monitoring and supervision of construction activities Installation and termination of different kind of field instrument, JB's and Marshalling cabinets and punch clearing activities.
• Assigned in checking all instrument cabling, termination, earthing works if conforms to project specification.

• Issue comprehensive daily activity report, the nature of the work and the material to be used.
• Assist vendor in Reinjection Compressor Unit (RIC 1,2,3) for gas turbines control Rolls Royce in CUQ.
• Installation of new instruments (pressure transmitters) inside gas turbine compartment for monitoring of engine performance.
• Site survey of instruments from transmitter to tapping point for client replacement and modification.
• Responsible of function testing of instruments and ensure that all components in a loop are fully operational when connected together and are in a state of readiness prior to the commencement of Start up activities.
• Field calibration of different instruments such as Pressure Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter, Level Transmitter, Control Valves.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and guidelines in all areas of work.

• Perform Mechanical Completion as Follows:
• Report direct to the Instrument Engineer for updates of work.
• Conduct inspection in Fire/Gas System to verify all installations are in compliance with the project drawings, engineering standard and specifications.
• Checking the Instrument installation hook-up and modification whether the installation as been completed and as of engineering specifications followed.
• Has been assigned as lead group technicians during onshore phase of the project, responsible of various hull systems such as bilge and ballast system, hydraulic cargo oil pumping system, hydraulic remote controlled valves, air compressors, tank gauging and cargo monitoring system, cargo transfer and offloading system, IGG/IGS
• Work Package verification (P&ID, Instrument Loop Diagram, Data Sheet, Instrument Layout Drawing, Hook-up Drawing, Termination Schedule, Instrument Index, Punch List, Schematic Diagram. and Vendor Drawing).
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and guidelines in all areas of work.
• Perform Lockout / Tag-out for both Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment if necessary for safety purposes before they commence their task job activities.
